has a very active cycling club whose members are
constantly working on developing new trails. But
in the meantime you're invited to try the Otway
Nordic Center Trails that offer bikers a bit of
everything, from flat riding to steep downhills
such as the Descent of Doom.
and the Bulkley Valley area have a number of trails.
There's the Perimeter Trail, easy family going,
which circumnavigates the town. For a great view
of Smithers and the Bulkley Valley, take the Malkow
Lookout Trail that is a moderate ride. If you're
looking for a course that is difficult, take the
Cronin Pass Trail into the Babine Mountains. The
Route is an excellent overnight trip, so plan
this trip carefully and be prepared. Be safe,
