Fishing Report: Francois contains a variety of fish species, including Rainbows to 3+ lbs. and Lake Char that will reach up to 20 lbs. and larger. Large spoons and plugs are used for these large Lake Char, while trolling with smaller lures, flatfish, spinning gear or large attractor flies is the most popular method used for Rainbow and Kokanee. The lake fishes well throughout the open water season. Francois is a very large, beautiful lake which offers exceptional recreational opportunities for the vacationer.
